Tensetti Tools is built and maintained by Jonatan Tensetti in Sweden. There is no anonymous team behind the site: one person researches the rules, writes the checks and answers the support email.
What we publish
Three tools, each solving a narrow problem that teams currently solve with a blank spreadsheet: a Cyber Resilience Act reporting drill, an EU Deforestation Regulation role and readiness check, and a technical-writing checker for specifications and instructions. Each has a free version that gives a usable answer without an account, and a paid version for teams that need reusable records.
How the method works
Every result is deterministic. The same inputs always produce the same output, and the rules behind them are written down and published rather than generated on the fly. Regulatory content is traced to primary sources — the Official Journal texts, the European Commission's own guidance and national authority pages — and each tool carries a source register with the date it was last reviewed. The current review date is 17 August 2026. When a source changes, the page and the register are updated together, and material changes are logged.
Independence and limits
Tensetti Tools is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by the European Commission, ENISA, any national authority, or any standards body. The tools are decision support, not legal advice, certification or an official reporting channel. They do not submit filings on your behalf and do not determine legal obligations for you. Where a question of scope is genuinely open, the output says so instead of guessing.
Your data
The free tools work without an account. Writing analysis runs entirely in your browser and your text is never sent to a server. Where an account exists, it stores only what is needed to give you access to what you bought. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store card details.
